About us
JP Pokemon Cards UK is a UK-based retailer of vintage Japanese Pokémon card singles. By placing an order you agree to these terms. Questions can be sent to hello@japanesepokemoncards.uk.
Orders
All orders are subject to availability. We reserve the right to cancel an order if an item is found to be unavailable or incorrectly priced, in which case a full refund will be issued immediately.
Once payment is confirmed your order is binding. You will receive an email confirmation followed by a dispatch notification when your card has been posted.
Condition grading
Cards are graded by us prior to listing using standard TCG condition definitions — Near Mint (NM), Lightly Played (LP), Moderately Played (MP), and Heavily Played (HP). Grading involves a degree of subjectivity.
Every card is imaged individually before listing. We encourage you to review the images carefully before purchasing — they show the actual card you will receive. If you have questions about a specific card's condition, contact us before ordering.
If you receive a card you believe has been materially misgraded, contact us within 48 hours and we will resolve it.
Pricing
All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Shipping costs are shown at checkout. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but the price shown at the time of your order will always be honoured.
Returns
Please see our Shipping & Returns page for full details. You have a 14-day right to return under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
Payments
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details. By completing a purchase you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.
Intellectual property
Pokémon and all related names are trademarks of Nintendo, Creatures Inc., and GAME FREAK inc. This site is unofficial and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of these companies.
Limitation of liability
Our liability is limited to the value of the order in question. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a UK consumer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
